Soil matters. Soils are the basis of the
food production. Soils are natural filters for infiltrating water
before groundwater reservoirs are replenished. The soil is a vital
part of the ecosystem; the soil is a natural resource.
But soils are challenged. There is a global
need for sustainable land use, for maintaining the quality of soil
and water. That’s why our research group is investigating
how we can conserve soil and water as our natural resources. There
