Call for papers

Participants interested in presenting lectures and/or posters should submit a half-page abstract before November 15, 2008. The Organizing Committee will decide whether the presentation will be included in the programme and whether it will be presented orally or as a poster.

Abstracts

The abstract should contain a concise and comprehensive statement of the problem, the results of research and solutions. It must include a title, author, possible co-authors, institute and should not exceed half a page in length (200-300 words) using the font Times New Roman, 12 pt, line space 1.5.
Please send abstracts by email as an attachment to ISHSPlantCryo@biw.kuleuven.be before November 15, 2008.
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and acceptance will be communicated to the authors by December 10, 2008. All accepted abstracts of registered participants will be published in the abstract book which will be distributed to all registered participants at the symposium.

Full paper

Both oral and poster presentations will be published in Acta Horticulturae. Please follow the instructions provided by ISHS. Writing instructions are available at the ISHS homepage at http://www.ishs.org/wri/pap1.htm

Authors of oral and poster presentations are requested to hand in their final paper (manuscript on CD together with a hard copy on A4 size paper) at the reception and information desk during the symposium or send it to the symposium mailbox ISHSPlantCryo@biw.kuleuven.be with the manuscript as an attached file prior to the symposium.

All abstracts of the contributions will be published on the symposium website until the end of 2010.
