P.H.A.G.E.

To support phage research and therapy in Europe, ‘Phages for Human Application Group Europe’ (P.H.A.G.E.), an international non-profit organisation, was founded on July 16, 2009. This organisation aims to develop a specific regulatory framework for phage therapy in Europe. Members of P.H.A.G.E. share an interest in the development of phage knowledge and phage application (prophylactic as well as therapeutic). Although members can originate from EU member states or from abroad, P.H.A.G.E. will mainly focus on EU-related issues. The work area includes activities on the European health policy level.
